Hi peeps,
thanks for tuning in for my first edition!
It's great sharing some of my insights on what life has thrown me over the couple of days... and well... I guess the blog is an outlet to express your frustrations, joy, struggles, yippees and such.

It was a great week of fellowship with Lukadeedodah who came down to NTU to mug, or rather to laze around with me. And 'coincidentally', it was also a week where I was hard pressed emotionally and spiritually. And sometimes, you just feel like, there's nothing much to go on for, it's really too tough, and the longsuffering that I have to go through seems to be more grievious than the prize that I'm going to receive at the end of the day. For me, I constantly visualise the day where I'm able to speak so impactfully and lovingly into the lives of friends and people and help them get out of whatever misery they have... and to be a spirit-filled drummer, one who is willing to stand in the gap and pay the price for the edification of the body of Christ. And God is moulding me for this purpose that He's put in my life, He's weeding out all the ugly and placing His heart within me.

There's no shortcut to your dreams, you gotta pay the price. Its like ordering a set meal over the counter in a fastfood restaurant. You ask for a set meal, and you have to WAIT for a short period before it comes onto your platter. And after it is served, you have to PAY for it.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, as you call out your friends name on the salvation menu, are you willing to stay patient and wait to receive the person you are reaching out to? Are you willing to pay to disciple him with the sacrifice of your time? We may call out their names and then we run off cause it takes about estimated 3 years for your order to arrive. Well, perhaps the beef patty takes about that amount of time to defrost and soften, but it doesn't mean IT WON'T.

I believe Jesus saw all our names on the menu list in MacHellTM, and asked for all of them. Satan the crew manager was behind the counter, and asked how He wanted to pay for it. And there He showed His nail-scarred hands, and smacked the devil's face with it. Something physically milder.. considering that he was thrown out of heaven.
